7 Months Old

Well it feels like a lot has happened in the last month. Everly experienced her first Christmas. It was so much fun. We went down to St. George. I don't think she really knew what was going on. It was a little much for her. She was very clingy while we were down there. Before Christmas we went on a sleigh ride in Midway to see Santa. We had the Lopez clan come along so Everly met Santa for the first time with Kingston. It was super fun and really cute! We also went to Temple Square with her. It was crazy busy and freezing cold.
She is scooting forward (and backward) ready to crawl. She might start crawling in the next month. She's a champ when it comes to eating. She loves to eat. She'll eat baby food or anything I'm eating. She especially loves cookies! She gets more and more fun the older she is. She loves stuffed animals and most all of her toys. She likes me to hold her...constantly but at the same time she wants to be independent and explore. She gets upset when I shower or do the dishes. We are still struggling with her sleep. I don't know what to do with her. It's difficult to still not be sleeping well 7 months later. She also scratches like crazy and leaves marks! She even bruises me sometimes because she loves to pinch me as she's nursing. She loves other kids and babies especially her baby cousins.

In other news, Sam accepted a job offer in Park City. It seems like a really great opportunity and he'll continue working there after he's graduated. We're excited!! He starts the Bluff program in just a few days and I'm dreading being away from him for three weeks straight. I've decided to go and stay with my family in St. George just so I'm not alone.
