Second Baby Bumpdate: Week 8

I didn't do 'bumpdates' with Everly. I didn't even take very many pictures. I thought it would be fun to try to do it this time around but I'm only 8 weeks. We had to tell our families earlier than we like because my family moved to Chicago and we wanted to tell them in person before they moved. Once we told our families it just feels like the cat is out of the bag! But we still haven't told any of our friends yet. I just feel like everyone knows already.

I was working full time when I was pregnant with Everly and I had a very busy work schedule. This time around I'm still working my butt off but I'm just home with Everly all day. I haven't started to feel the exhausted feeling until just a couple of days ago. It comes in waves though, like the nausea. I feel the most sick at night and I'm usually OK during the day as long as I've got something in my stomach. I'm constantly eating:)....I don't feel like I'm showing yet but some days my pants defiantly feel a little tighter (which has nothing to do with the sweets I now justify myself in eating). Even when I'm nauseous, ice cream sounds SO good!! My go-to when I've felt sick though is the Carnation Instant Breakfast packets that you pour in milk. When I feel sick during the day, I drink one of those and I feel so much better. I don't know what it is but it's really helped. Last week I had my first doctor appointment. My doctor does an ultrasound at every appointment until about 25 weeks. So we got to see the little baby bean and hear the heart beat. It makes it so much more real! I seriously LOVE to see the baby and hear the heart beat. It's such a relief to be able to actually see that everything is OK and the baby is healthy so far.

All in all, I've felt pretty good so far! I'm so excited to have another little one:)!!
