Tot School: Circle and 'B' Lesson

Shapes are tougher for Everly to grasp at this point. But I still try. She somewhat understands the letters, colors and numbers but shapes are confusing. We started with circles. We read about circles (and other shapes) and looked around the house for things that were circles. We drew colorful circles on a piece of paper. Everly's favorite circle activity was the gumball activity. She loves stickers right now. OBSESSED! I let her use the dot stickers to fill the gumball spaces. She loved it and spent quite a bit of time focusing on that task.

We also covered the letter B in this lesson. I used the same fabric and Popsicle letters that I used to teach 'A.' We then had fun playing with balloons, balls, bubbles, and coloring the letter 'B.' We ended with circle time and singing but after the bubbles she kind of lost interest in anything else.
