We're Expecting Another Baby!!!

We are so excited to announce that we're expecting another baby! We can't wait to add another little one to our family. I ended up taking a pregnancy test while Sam was at work one day. He works an hour away so I didn't want to go visit him to tell him and I just couldn't do it through text or over the phone. It felt like the longest day ever waiting for him to get home from work. I put together this little shoe box filled to tell him when he got home.

I gave it to him and watched his face as it took a few seconds to register what he was looking at:)... It was so fun to see him get all excited and we went to Cold Stone to celebrate.



We found out I was expecting on September 6 (I was four weeks). After we found out I was expecting, we also found out that my dad took a new job and my family was moving to Chicago in two weeks. They were currently living in St. George where I grew up. When I was pregnant with Everly we wanted to tell my family in person so we made a special trip down just to announce. It was important to us that we told my family in person this time as well so we ended up announcing the pregnancy very early at week 7 on September 24. We went to St. George to say good-bye to my family and we put Everly in this really cute outfit that said 'Sister Bear' to announce. Of course everyone was very excited and we got wonderful reactions.

Monday September 26 we decided to announce to Sam's family. I had my first appointment that day so Sam was home early from work. We drove down to American Fork and had Everly wear the outfit again. Sam's parents were excited but his sister Piper said "oh no, not again" and then a few seconds later "ALREADY?!" His brother Ben said "okay now I'm scared" when he found out so it really was an interesting reaction at the Hunt house. But then again most things at the Hunt house are interesting so I don't know why I was surprised.
