Last year for Halloween, Everly slept through everything. She had a really rough night the night before and fell asleep on Halloween at 5:00PM! So we were excited for this year because she knows what's going on (kind of) and she would be able to trick-or-treat. Sam's co-workers convinced us to come to Park City for the afternoon and do their trick-or-treating on main street. The shops all pass out candy and there were so many people! Everly caught on quickly that people were putting candy in her bucket and started handing people her bucket so they would put candy in it. She was very excited to get so much candy. When I was getting her ready to go up to Park City, she saw her costume and just had to wear it. She was so excited! She was an elephant and the costume came with little bootie things that she thought were mittens so she wore them on her hands. It was so cute.
After we were in Park City, we drove down to Cedar Hills to go trick-or-treating with Sam's family. That was eventful. Once we got home, Everly was all about digging through her candy to see what she got. Needless to say it took forever to get her to sleep!
