Everly's First Hockey Game

Before we had Everly, Sam and I were season ticket holders to the University of Utah Utes Hockey team. We went to every game and even traveled up to an hour and half away for games regularly. Last season Everly was only two months when the season started and I was worried it was too loud for a newborn so we didn't go to any games. This season she seemed old enough so last weekend we took her to her first game. It was against long time rival Weber State which is usually a close game. Since we've been to a game, both teams have changed quite a bit. We ended up winning 7-1 and it wasn't an intense game sadly. There were a few good fights though so they didn't totally disappoint:) Everly totally LOVED it. There were little kids for her to play with and enough room for her to walk along the benches and even go up to the glass behind the players. I can't wait for the next home game so we can get back in to it again.

On a side note (but sports related) we also took Everly to a Utah Jazz basketball game in the same week. She totally loved the first five minutes then was pretty grumpy the rest of the time. Her favorite was when everyone cheered because she loved clapping along she would also help boo when it was time.
