I had my second appointment just a few days ago. It went well. The baby is measuring several days big but I don't think that really means much at this point. I love that my doctor does an ultrasound at every appointment until about 25 weeks. So I got to see the baby again and we saw little hands:) So cute! The whole baby is just over an inch long right now. I've actually lost a little weight since my last appointment so I was super happy about that! Trying to gain as little as possible especially during the first trimester. The baby's heartbeat was 170 and I totally believe the wives tale of being able to predict the gender based on the heartbeat. I did some research and it seems before 12 weeks the heartbeat can't determine the gender. The placenta is on the right though so according to that test it would be a girl! We'll see! My doctor thinks he may be able to tell the gender at my next appointment. I'll only be 14 weeks but I'm really hoping he'll be able to tell me the gender!
I've been feeling nauseous still. We ended up having a very busy week and weekend last weekend and it took a toll on me. I felt the worst I've felt so far Saturday night. It was awful. I'm hoping to be feeling better from now on. I have defiantly been feeling tired but not completely exhausted all the time so that's a bonus.
