My mom got this book as part of her membership when she joined at the Lincoln Museum. I was expecting more from the book, based on the title. But I guess when you major in history and emphasize in American History you learn a lot about one of our most famous presidents. I knew most of the stories the book shares. I still think it's a great book and if you feel like you don't know much about Lincoln or that time period. I thought this was a wonderful read. It's an easy, non-political and quick read for a history book. You don't need much background knowledge to follow along and it's just broken up in to 1-2 page stories.
